The object of law is order, and the result of order is that men are enabled to look ahead with some sort of security as to the future. Although human actions cannot be reduced to the uniformities of nature, men have yet endeavored to reproduce by law something approaching to this uniformity. In today’s world law is a part and parcel of a human life. To make people a social human being, human’s only give rise to some strict and some not so strict rules, which makes a man socially acceptable. Law is an arrangement of rules usually imposed by a set of institutions which affects society, politics, and economics of a nation in a number of ways. Legal system around us is being created by men to restore rights of every people living in a country and perform their duties towards the nation. Legal system reflects a country’s cultural and social background of a country. A basic differentiation is made among criminal law jurisdictions and civil law jurisdictions. In some countries law is highly influenced by religious texts. There are hundreds and thousands of different types of laws existing in a country which when violated, knowingly or unknowingly by a person; it may fetch some punishment to that person. It is also not possible for a person to know about all the laws existing in the country. So to avoid facing such problems legal advice from a law practitioner is a healthy solution. Ignorance of law is no excuse. Although it is not possible for a layman to learn every branch of law, yet it to the advantage of each member of the community to know something of rules and regulations by which he is governed and as such he must acquaint himself with a branch of law. The law now-a-days is a mater of great intricacy.
